On Being Different

In his Behind the Scenes column in the National Enquirer (June 15, 1999), Mike Walker wrote:

"Like many fans of edgy, brilliant Nicholas Cage, I've always thought he was a tad weird – like the time he ate a live cockroach onscreen! And this latest Cage confession doesn't change my mind:

'I don't really care about the lottery, per se, but I like scratching that stuff off the tickets. I love the way it feels when you take a coin and scrape that stuff off. It feels GREAT!'"

And while on the topic of this personality style, I'm reminded of a suffering friend who referred to his condition as "cosmic shithood"...
