The Land of AND Playshop:
Presence, Spontaneity, & Symbolic ChangeOn-site or Teleclass (Teleclass Agenda)
Dizzy Gillespie, when asked where his jazz came from, said "It's out there, man. Don't you hear it?"
Traditional approaches to change have moved toward greater use of metaphors to free right-brain resources, the most powerful metaphors those of the responder's own creation. Providing a stage for these to unfold requires being fully present and spontaneous – listening deeply, observing without projection or judgment, and opening ourselves to an emerging shift. But we tend to bring kit-bags packed with our own scripts for how the performance should go.
The Land of AND combines metaphors and improvisation with a listening approach that invites and develops a metaphorical theater where resolution occurs symbolically. You'll learn how to raise the curtain on right-brain dramas, from identifying the dramatic question, through the story's crucible, to dénouement (the untying of knots): a complete character arc within the metaphoric play.
And we do mean play. Why are events that help us develop new skills called "workshops" when metaphors for work include daily grind and salt mines??? We'd rather see you kick up your heels, let your hair down. So join us for an experiential learning spree, a playshop, on-site in Tampa or in a teleclass.
