Coaching Applications:
A One-to-One Course of Study

This plan was tailored to a specific individual; yours would fit your needs. And you have the same trial option available to all clients -- a free conversation before making a commitment.

  1. Agree on shared values/learning style/preferred process (e.g., practicality, grounded theory, applications to individual coaching and group work; mutual learning/respect/engagement.

  2. Confirm key attributes/competencies (e.g., coach shows commitment to learn and practice, and to collaborate targeting course to coach's needs; mentor provides structure, clarity, and focus).

  3. Explore resources (e.g., review/discuss models and examples; read/discuss books, articles, workbook; practice and discuss agreed-upon assignments).

  4. Agree on topics/estimated time needed ( e.g., coaching basics, how to work with groups, functional applications - design, facilitate, and debrief at least one group event).
